There were 31 new ETF offerings launched in the past week, each with a distinct value proposition for investors. Detailed below are the respective launches from each asset manager.
J.P. Morgan Asset Management launched the JPMorgan Equity and Options ETF (Ticker: JOYT), an actively managed solution that uses a multi-pronged approach to total return, sourced from dividends, options premium and capital appreciation. The fund seeks to
achieve this objective by creating an actively managed portfolio of equity securities and by selling call options with exposure to the S&P 500 Index, primarily through options on ETFs that replicate the index.
Janus Henderson Investors launched the Janus Henderson Global Artificial Intelligence ETF (Ticker: JHAI), an actively managed solution that seeks to generate strong investment returns by identifying disruptive companies enabling, enhancing, or benefiting from the use of artificial intelligence (AI).
JHAI aims to help clients harness the long-term disruptive power of artificial intelligence by leveraging the firm’s dedicated technology and industrial analysts, its well-established history of investing in innovation, and its ability to identify trends over time. The investment team believes that active, bottom-up fundamental research is additive to an AI-focused ETF and that investing over time in companies that contribute to or benefit from AI could offer an opportunity for investors to benefit from significant disruption and sustained growth.
Zacks Investment Management launched the Zacks Quality International ETF (Ticker: QUIZ), an actively managed fund that invests in high-quality companies across developed international markets, including Japan, Germany, and the United Kingdom. The strategy aims to focus on companies with consistent earnings, strong balance sheets, and the potential to deliver attractive risk-adjusted returns through market cycles, using the same disciplined investment approach.

Harbor Capital Advisors, Inc. launched the Harbor Alpha Layering ETF (Ticker: HOLD), an actively managed solution that employs a quantitative approach that “layers” an active, trend-following managed futures strategy on top of a passive position that is intended to replicate the returns of the S&P 500 Index. One dollar invested in the fund provides a total exposure of approximately one dollar and fifty cents (150 per cent total exposure), which is allocated 75 per cent to the long passive US equity strategy and 75 per cent to the managed futures strategy.
Themes ETFs launched the Themes Humanoid Robotics ETF (Ticker: BOTT), which seeks to track the Solactive Global Humanoid Robotics Index NTR, which aims to track the full humanoid robotics ecosystem, spanning service and assistive robots, industrial automation, and AI-enabled systems. This includes companies developing humanoid platforms for human interaction, autonomous robotics for manufacturing and logistics, wearable and mobility-assist technologies, and the underlying AI, sensor, and computing architectures driving next-gen robotics.
Amplify ETFs launched the Amplify SILJ Covered Call ETF (Ticker: SLJY), which seeks to provide annualised option premium income of 18 per cent as well as potential capital appreciation by combining exposure to junior silver mining companies with a covered call options strategy.
SLJY uses an options strategy that involves selling out-of-the-money call options—contracts set at prices above the current market value—aiming to capture income from market volatility in those securities. The Fund seeks to pay dividend distributions monthly. At the same time, the strategy seeks price appreciation potential through upside participation if the value of the underlying stocks rises.
Manulife John Hancock Investments launched the John Hancock Global Senior Loan ETF (Ticker: JHLN), an actively managed solution that seeks to capture attractive income opportunities across the global loan markets by exploiting market inefficiencies and geographic and sector relative value.
