Tabula Investment Management appoints Italian country manager

Specialist fixed income ETF provider Tabula Investment Management has appointed Franco Mancini head its Italian speaking business which includes targeting a broad range of institutional investors in Italy and Lugano.

Before joining Tabula, Franco was responsible for business development at Redhedge Asset Management. Franco began his career on the eurobond trading desk of Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena, before joining BNP Paribas in credit sales within the bank’s FICC department. He has held similar roles at Morgan Stanley, Mediobanca and Goldman Sachs.

Tabula was set up in 2018 to focus on delivering innovative solutions to fixed income exposure through ETFs. Tabula currently offers institutional investors access to both long and short credit indices, corporate bonds and alternative risk premia. The fund manager has five ETFs and plans to launch several new funds over the coming months.   
“Italy is a vital market for ETFs, with a particular focus on fixed income exposure. We are delighted to have Franco join us. He brings the perfect mix of a deep understanding of the underlying fixed income sectors, long-standing investor relationships and experience in entrepreneurial fund businesses. He is an excellent addition to our team,” said Tabula CEO Michael John Lytle.
